Jayne Glocke holds a bachelor's degree in vocal music education as well as a master's degree in choral conducting and choral literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at Madison, she studied conducting with Robert Fountain and voice with Ilona Kombrink. During her teaching career, she has served as the choral director at Whitefish Bay (WI) High School and Saline (MI) middle and high schools. She also taught elementary music and elementary choirs in Lake Bluff, IL and Stevens Point, WI. Her collegiate level teaching includes instructing music education classes and observing student teachers at both the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and the Pennsylvania State University. An active guest conductor and choral clinician, Glocke currently conducts the Oriana Singers, Women's Chorale, and Campus Choir, and is the director of the Honors Music Institute, Penn State’s summer experience for talented high school musicians.
