Penn State Invitational Orchestra Festival

The culminating performance of the Penn State Invitational Orchestra Festival will occur at 7:00 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium. The concert brings together invited high school string players with Penn State wind and percussion musicians in a full orchestra performance. The festival orchestra is conducted by Gerardo Edelstein. General public $4.00 (available at the door).

The "Invitational Orchestra Festival" offers the opportunity to learn, study, and perform with other accomplished musicians, all under the direction of renowned faculty from Penn State’s School of Music. The day's activities will include:
  • Orchestra rehearsals, joined by winds and percussion of the Penn State Philharmonic Orchestra
  • Masterclasses and sectionals presented by Penn State Faculty
