The week of evening concerts associated with the Honors Music Institute draws to a close with a concert of opera scenes and chamber music performed by the institute's students. On the first day, the students were assigned to chamber ensembles based on their auditions. These ensembles rehearsed one our per day and were coached by institute faculty members. A favorite event of the week, it is the final opportunity for the students to share their talents prior to the ensemble concerts and piano recital which conclude the events on Saturday.

The Honors Music Institute is an immersion in the art of music-making designed for talented high school students. It offers the opportunity to learn, study, and perform with other accomplished student musicians, all under the direction of renowned faculty members from Penn State’s School of Music.

All evening performances throughout the week are open to the public free of charge.

This performance is available on livestream at cwstudios.

Program to be announced.
