Trombone Choir to Perform at American Trombone Workshop

The Penn State Trombone Choir has been invited to appear as a featured ensemble at the 2015 "American Trombone Workshop," sponsored by the United States "Pershing's Own" Army Band in Washington, D.C. The performance will occur on March 21 at 4:00 p.m. and will feature many of the members of the 24-member ensemble, along with guest artist alumni including Tom Riccobono, Bruce Tychinski, and special guest Christopher Bill. The repertoire will feature music by Jack Stamp, Morten Lauridsen, Penn State alum Michael Forbes, U2, Christopher Bill, Steven Verhelst and Leonard Bernstein.

The Trombone Choir's performance will be available via livestreamed video on the American Trombone Workshop's website. The ensemble is conducted by trombone faculty member Mark L. Lusk.
