From a 2018 participant:
“There is something so special about this camp. Everything and everyone came together in just the right way to inspire a creative spirit that connected us and drove us to achieve more than we ever thought was possible in one week. We not only were taught by Penn State’s incredible music faculty and guest artists, but we also learned how beautiful and diverse the language of music is. I will never forget my experience at HMI. In fact, the lessons I learned go beyond just music and will be ones I will use for the rest of my life no matter where I go or what I just choose to pursue.”
