On Sunday, October 20th (8:00 a.m.- 10:00 p.m.), the Penn State Flute Club will host its annual Penn State Flute Day, intended to motivate flutists of all ages and abilities and to create a stronger flute community within the central Pennsylvania region. Filled with masterclasses, lectures, exhibits, and recitals, the day's events are open to the public. Flute students are encouraged to bring their parents and teachers.
This year, the studio is honored to host guest artist Bart Feller (flute professor at Rutgers University and the Pre-Juilliard program). Other lecturers and performers include Naomi Seidman (Penn State), Therese Wacker (Indiana University of Pennsylvania), Cathy Herrera (Juniata College), Christine Moulton (Mansfield University), Patty Lambert (Callandish Band), and Morgann Davis among others.
Registration is required, and there is a $10.00 participation fee for all attendees. Please email Naomi Seidman at firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
