The 13th annual President's Concert features performances by the Philharmonic Orchestra, Trombone Choir, and Centre Dimensions Jazz Ensemble.
PRE-CONCERT RECEPTION: The Penn State Alumni Association and President Eric Barron will host a pre-concert reception on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. in the Hershey Story Room of The Hershey Story Museum. Alumni and friends can enjoy hors-d'oeuvres and socialize with fellow Penn Staters. Business attire is recommended. The annual President's Concert series provides an opportunity for Penn State students to present concerts in the most renowned performance venues on the East Coast. In its history, Penn State ensembles have traveled to Heinz Hall (Pittsburgh), Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.), Carnegie Hall (NY), Kimmel Center (Philadelphia), the Strathmore Centre (Bethesda, MD), and the Forum Theatre in Harrisburg, PA.
