Get Directions to Esber Recital Hall
The University Park campus is located at the geographical center of the state, adjacent to State College, PA. Access is available by car, air, and bus.
The School of Music's Esber Recital Hall is located near the northwest corner of the campus, and visitor parking is available at the Nittany Parking Deck for an hourly rate.
Due to construction of our new concert hall, concerts typically occurring in Esber Recital Hall have been scheduled in other venues for the fall 2017 semester.
- The Playhouse Theatre is in the Theatre Building, attached to Music Building II by a walkway. The entrance to the theatre is on the second floor. The elevator in Music Building II provides convenient access to the theatre. Park in the Nittany Lion Inn parking deck.
- The Palmer Museum of Art is located on Curtin Road, just a short walk from the School of Music. If parking in the Nittany Lion Inn parking deck, walk to the School of Music, turn right, and go to the end of the street. Then, turn left and walk one block. There is also a parking lot behind the museum with limited access.
- Schwab Auditorium is located in the middle of the University Park campus, directly behind Old Main. Park in the HUB parking deck.

For concerts occurring in Eisenhower Auditorium, parking is provided at the adjacent Eisenhower Parking Deck.
Frequent concert-goers are encouraged to purchase a monthly parking permit for evening and weekend performances. Simply download and complete this form and send it with payment to the University Parking Office at the address on the form. The Parking Office will send you a permit valid in all regular faculty and staff parking areas after 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. The permit is not valid in any of the resident student parking areas, spaces specifically reserved by signage, or events at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) provides services for those traveling within the area. Frequent free downtown-campus routes are provided by the BLUE and WHITE LOOPs and the RED and GREEN LINKs. Service to campus from the surrounding area is provided by CATA's numerous additional routes.These connect the campus with the outlying communities of Boalsburg, Bellefonte, Pleasant Gap, Pine Grove Mills, Stormstown, etc. and with major shopping centers and businesses.
