Free admission

The Penn State School of Music presents Musica Nova, a unique concert of newly composed music for a wide variety of media including winds, brass, strings, percussion, piano, recorded audio, and more.

Lions, tigers, dancing bears, impossible feats of strength, acts of strange magical powers, displays of exotic and rare specimens from the far corners of the globe, frightening and shocking freaks of the natural world, will not be in evidence. Instead, students and faculty of the School of Music will perform dazzling feats of their own - world premiers of new compositions, never before heard by human ears!

Musica Nova is coordinated by Penn State interim composition faculty member Alex Heppelmann.

Program to be announced.
