Jacob Womack (’09 M.M. Piano Pedagogy and Performance) recently graduated from West Virginia University with a D.M.A. degree in piano performance. He now serves as Director of Music at the School of Harmony in Beaver, West Virginia, where he teaches classical, jazz, and group piano. Starting as the House of Harmony in 2005, the school has grown to offer instruction to over 400 students in music, dance, and art.
Originally from West Virginia, Jacob holds an undergraduate music education degree from West Virginia University. Prior to his appointment at the School of Harmony, he worked as a piano instructor in the WVU Community Music Program.
In addition to his responsibilities at School of Harmony, Jacob is also an adjunct instructor at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia, where he teaches Introduction to Music and applied piano.
