Rising junior music education student Marissa Works has received an internship from the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts for summer 2017. She will work in the center's Education: Changing Education Through the Arts program (CETA), which provides professional
learning for teachers in the arts and arts integration. Her duties will include working on the center's National Arts Integration Conference which brings together over 300 national and international educators. She will also assist in the preparation of materials and documents to support courses at CETA Partnership Schools and teacher workshops at the Kennedy Center during the 2017-18 school year.
From Hermitage, PA, Marissa is a voice major studying in the studio of Richard Kennedy. She is a Schreyer Honors College student, double-majoring in Communications.
