Ph.D. candidate Lindsay Fulcher has accepted a tenure-track position as assistant professor of string education at the University of Northern Colorado, beginning fall 2016. She will be collaborating with music education and string faculty to build their programs in string education, community outreach, and distance learning. Lindsay has just finished a one-year visiting appointment at Ball State University and will graduate this summer. Her dissertation research is supervised by Penn State professor Robert Gardner.
Fulcher holds an undergraduate degree in music education from Baldwin Wallace University, and taught high school orchestra in Burlington, NC prior to pursuing her graduate study at Penn State.
